Pork batchoy (Filipino noodle soup with pork)

  • A heart-warming and super healthy noodle soup, the Filipino counterpart of the Vietnamese pho or Japanese ramen. We take our time to make the broth and that pays off: our pork batchoy is super tasty and nutritious.

    300 ml soup, 120 g pork, 150 g noodles, 150 g vegetables and 1 egg

  • Pork belly, onion, garlic, ginger, leeks, carrot, scallions, shiitake, oil, anchovies, dried shrimps, egg, cabbage, noodles

    Side sauce: soy, vinegar, calamansi

Allergens: gluten, fish, egg, crustaceans, soy. May contain traces of peanut.

Disclaimer about allergens: Please note that in our kitchen we work with celery, gluten containing grains, mustard, egg, milk, nuts, peanuts, sesame, soy and sulfites. Occasionally our ingredients can slightly change, due to shortages in the shops for example. If you have specific questions about allergens or just want to be 100% sure, don’t hesitate to contact us.
  • In the microwave:
    1. Place all ingredients from the flat pack, except the fried onions and soy-calamansi sauce, in a bowl or in a deep soup plate.
    2. Pour the broth over it.
    3. Place in the microwave, cover and heat for 2 to 4 minutes (600-800W). Timing may vary depending on your microwave.
    4. Taste, and if you like it a little saltier, add some more soy-calamansi sauce. Sprinkle with the fried onions.
