Caldereta (beef stew in tomato sauce) with croquettes

  • Those who like ‘stoofvlees’ and goulash will also love this dish. We make our caldereta with slowly braised beef stew in tomato sauce and we serve it with either croquettes or fried rice (you can find both options in our menu) and with a salad on the side.

  • Yellow onion, carrots, paprika, garlic, mixed herbs, tomato sauce, chili, milk, lemon, fish sauce, croquettes (potatoes, sunflower oil, wheat flour)

Allergens: fish, milk, gluten. May contain traces of nuts and peanut.

Disclaimer about allergens: Please note that in our kitchen we work with celery, gluten containing grains, mustard, egg, milk, nuts, peanuts, sesame, soy and sulfites. Occasionally our ingredients can slightly change, due to shortages in the shops for example. If you have specific questions about allergens or just want to be 100% sure, don’t hesitate to contact us.
  • With croquettes (in the oven):
    1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Remove the foil and remove the salad. Cover with something oven-proof (e.g. aluminum foil) or place in a sealed baking dish.
    2. Heat the dish for 15 to 18 minutes. Timing may vary depending on your oven. Serve with the salad.
Or if desired, you can deep fry the croquettes (+/- 1 min) and heat the caldereta with the microwave.
