Ordering

Why can I only have deliveries on Mondays and Thursdays?

By bundling our deliveries on two days a week, we avoid unnecessary travel and food waste. But don’t worry, you can keep our dishes for three days in the fridge. So you can still enjoy them whenever you want.

Can I choose an exact time for the delivery?

We plan our deliveries as efficiently and sustainably as possible, based on the orders for that day. You cannot choose an exact time yourself. Make sure you order for a day when someone is definitely at home between 18 and 21 o’clock.

Can I order well in advance? Or last minute?

You can order for all Mondays and Thursdays during which the current menu is available. Please note that we change our menu more or less every month.

You can order at the latest until three days in advance. That means you can order until Friday before midnight for delivery on Monday, and until Monday before midnight for delivery on Thursday.

Last minute orders are not possible. We don’t like to waste food, and cook exactly the quantities needed.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel as long as the deadline for orders has not passed. In other words, a delivery on Monday can be cancelled at the latest on Friday before midnight, and a delivery on Thursday can be cancelled at the latest on Thursday before midnight.

Contact us via email or Messenger if you want to cancel an order.

How can I pay?

You can pay with Bancontact, VISA and Mastercard.

Will I receive a confirmation e-mail when I order something?

Of course. If you don’t see a confirmation email, please check your spam folder. If you cannot find it there either, and you want to be sure that your order has been received, feel free to contact us via e-mail or Facebook Messenger.

Can I order for multiple days at once?

No, this is currently not possible. If you want to order for different days, please place multiple orders.

I just placed my order, but forgot to add something. What should I do now?

If you have forgotten a lot, just make a new order for the same day and with the same address.

Did you forget something small, which means you cannot reach the minimum order amount that is required? Then please contact us via e-mail before the order deadline. We will then arrange the payment in another way.

Deliveries

Do you also deliver outside the region of Mechelen?

No, at the moment we only deliver to Mechelen, Sint-Katelijne-Waver, Bonheiden, Zemst, Boortmeerbeek and their suburbs. But in time we may expand our delivery area. Feel free to email or message us to let us know that you are interested but live outside our delivery area. We will take this into account whenever we’re looking into where we can expand.

For our party packages, we do not limit ourselves to this region.

Can I come and pick up my order?

No, you cannot. To make sure everything runs as efficiently as possible, we only offer deliveries and no take-away.

Are the meals delivered cold or hot?

We deliver our meals cold. So you can prepare them yourself whenever you feel like it. It’s very simple, usually you just have to heat them up in the oven or microwave.

What if I am not home at the time of delivery?

When you place an order, we ask what we should do with it if you are not home. For example, leave it with a neighbor, leave it on the doorstep…

If you realize in advance that you will not be at home at the time of delivery, but somewhere else in the delivery area, please let us know one day in advance. This way we can still adjust our delivery route.

After delivery

How do I heat the dishes?

That’s very simple. Usually it’s enough to warm them up in the oven or microwave. You can consult the instructions on this website. We also provide QR codes on the dishes themselves. Scan them with your smartphone and you’ll end up on a product sheet page with all the information.

How long can I keep the dishes in the fridge?

You can keep them in the fridge for at least three days.

Did you wait too long? Then it’s best to judge for yourself. Look, smell and use your common sense. If you’re in doubt, don’t risk it.

Can I freeze the meals?

It’s better that you don’t. We cannot guarantee the quality.

What is Filipino cuisine like?

Filipino cuisine is one of the most versatile cuisines in the world. It is a unique melting pot that is different from other Asian cuisines.

As early as the 9th century, Chinese and Indian traders brought their recipes. Spain also made its mark strongly, during 333 years of colonization. And before the country could stand on its own feet, it was under the rule of the Americans for another 49 years. Apart from that, many other Southeast Asian countries have also helped shape Filipino cuisine.

I have an allergy. How can I know if a certain dish is suitable for me?

That is easy to check. On the page of each dish we list the ingredients and allergens.

Please note that in our kitchen we work with celery, gluten containing grains, mustard, egg, milk, nuts, peanuts, sesame, soy and sulfites. Occasionally our ingredients can slightly change, due to shortages in the shops for example. If you have specific questions about allergens or just want to be 100% sure, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Are the meals halal?

No. Our workspace and equipment sometimes come into contact with things that are not halal, such as pork. Therefore, we don’t feel comfortable claiming that our meals are halal.

Are your meals suitable for children?

Sure. We sometimes even provide dishes specifically for children. A few dishes may be too spicy for them, but you can easily recognize those by the chili pepper icon.

Can I make some suggestions for your next monthly menu?

Certainly. We are always interested in feedback and suggestions.

Are you closed some periods?

Like everyone else, we need to take a vacation now and then. We will communicate this clearly in advance and will not accept orders for that period.

How do you handle my personal data?

To be honest, we are really not interested in your personal data. We will only use it to contact you regarding your order and delivery. Afterwards we will delete your personal data.
